LolëMontréal, Québec, Canada
Ædifica has designed over a dozen Lolë stores across Canada and in New York. The top-selling manufacturer of active women’s wear opened its flagship store on Saint-Denis Street in Montreal in 2002. The project marked the beginning of a long-standing collaborative relationship with this leading Quebec brand.
For its fourth location in Quebec, Lolë set up shop at 954 Sainte-Catherine Street West in downtown Montréal. The impressive 2,500-square-footboutique space designed by our firm is a definite eye catcher! It boasts a mezzanine and a 50-foot-high store window, whose charm is irresistible. Our teams' clever interior design succeeded in bringing out the building's heritage value by retaining the decorative molding and frescos. The designers also took advantage of natural light to illuminate the spaces. Having previously been a movie theatre, the building's unique space lent itself beautifully to an open-ceiling store concept. What was the former theatre's lobby now serves as the boutique space, while the remaining 1,500 square feetare used as administrative and technical spaces.
