Quartier des spectacles

Ædifica is proud to have contributed to this Montreal heritage, to have contributed to the urban development of the Quartier des spectacles and to have encouraged the development of Quebec's cultural scene.

Ædifica participated, with the help of various partners, in the creation of the Maison Symphonique de Montréal, 2-22, the Salon Urbain, the urban boxes of Complexe Desjardins and the Édifice Wilder - Espace Danse.

Moreover, Michel Lauzon, Vice-President - Strategy & Design at Ædifica, then President of the firm NOMADE, had developed and proposed an overall plan for the organization of this area located in the heart of downtown Montreal. This major urban planning project has formed the masterplan for the urban development of the Quartier des spectacles as we know it today.

Maison Symphonique de Montréal: Ædifica + Diamond & Schmitt
2-22: Ædifica + Gilles Huot Architectes
Salon Urbain: Sid Lee Architecture + Ædifica
Urban boxes of Complexe Desjardins: Ædifica
Édifice Wilder - Espace Danse: Lapointe Magne + Ædifica
Masterplan Quartier des spectacles: Michel Lauzon, NOMADE
